The D'Viajeros — Cuba's advance passenger information form — is a short form. What complicates the trip is rarely the form itself but the particular cases: what arrival looks like at each airport, which passport a Cuban living abroad must use, how the diaspora declares its gifts, or what to do when the portal is down. This guide focuses on exactly that.
The essentials, in one line
The procedure is mandatory and free, done on the official portal up to 48 hours before arrival, and it produces a QR code shown at immigration, customs and public health. Every traveller needs their own, children included.
It is not a visa
The D'Viajeros records information; on its own it doesn't grant entry. Depending on the case you'll also need the tourist card or eVisa, travel insurance valid in Cuba, and the right passport. Those are separate, paid requirements; the D'Viajeros is free.
